Recent Water Issue

Thank you to the resident and business that called to alert the Water Department of discolored water in the St Thomas School area. This helped to identify unauthorized use of a fire hydrant in that immediate area. Hydrant use causes the system to become stirred up and results in temporarily discolored water for neighboring areas. There is no health or safety hazard with this condition. If you notice this at your home, allow your water to run for a few minutes to help flush the system. Do not do any laundry while the water is still discolored as it may stain clothing.

Lane Reduction on Prospect Dec. 13th

On Friday December 13th from approximately 7:30am-11am, there will be a lane reduction on Prospect Ave from Lake St northbound to approximately E Sciota Ave (Heights Food Mart to Subway).

This lane reduction will be for water department work in the immediate area. Please consider an alternate route of travel during the listed times and please use caution while driving thru the area. Thank you!
