The construction process in each neighborhood takes roughly 6-8 weeks from first seeing utility locate flags to completing restoration and activating services.
Neighborhoods that are being constructed this year will receive multiple communications prior to any construction activity. Hydrant Flushing Begins Monday, Oct 11th
The Peoria Heights semi-annual hydrant flushing program will begin on Monday, October 11, 2021 and continue through Friday, October 15, 2021 weather and schedule permitting.

Hydrant flushing will occur on these days from 7:30am to 3:30pm. Use of water for laundry purposes is not advisable during flushing due to the possibility of discoloration.
Iron remover detergent is available upon request.
