Zoning Board of Appeals
The Zoning Board's primary duty is to hear petitions or appeals to the application of the terms of the Village's Zoning Code. The Zoning Board has limited authority to grant variations to the provisions of the Zoning Code and primarily only grants a variance when the property owner can demonstrate that the Zoning Code imposes practical difficulties or particular hardship not created by the property owner. This Board consists of nine (8) members who are residents of the Village.

Members of the Zoning Board are appointed by the Mayor, subject to approval by the Board of Trustees, to serve a term of five years or until their successors are duly appointed. The Zoning Board is led by Chairman Rick Picl and meets on the third Monday of every month in Village Hall beginning at 5:30 pm.
